Every now and again I get cleaned up and this time my husband wanted proof.  LOL.

He had a big shindig with his work at OCADVSA (a gala event that would benefit the YWCA).  So I gave in.  No twisting of arms was involved since I was channeling my inner model and honestly had a lot of fun posing.

While hubster pushed the shutter button, I doing my best to radiate glamor and sophistocation and all the while hoping I would be more or less in focus….hubby is more of a point and shoot type of photog and I was busy making it complicated with lights, angles (the skinny ones!) and shooting the 5D in manual.

So please, if you notice a few technical errors, be kind…it was my darling behind the camera.

Oh wait!  Is that the phone?  I think Tyra Banks may be calling….gotta go!

Anna and Zander are the darling couple.  A to Z!

Lilies seem to be a favorite flower and they are very striking in a bouquet.  Although I have added just a bit of sparkle to her bouquet (isn’t her ring lovely?)

Before the bride entered, we have a couple of minutes while the guests were treated to a slide show. 

The wedding party had to wait just a bit before they could make their big entrance.

This little squirt was actually pretty content to wait.

I belive Anna was singing along with the slide show (“I’ve Had the Time of My Life” I do believe was playing.)

The reception.  Flower toppers are the big thing this year.

When I told them “this is for the blog”, I wasn’t kidding!  They obliged without question.

Okay, so it’s not exactly a farm, but you get the idea. It’s a place with enough land for a lot of critters and a variety of foliage.

My coworker boards her horse here and asked me to come out and take photos before her riding lesson.

Hank is her baby.

He, along with a few of the other horses who live here, posed for me this morning.

This old girl is Bonnie.  She’s nearly 30 years old and didn’t want to stand still for photos.  She preferred to wander my way because she knew I would love on her if she got within petting distance.

Some of the foliage also sported six legged critters.  Don’t worry.  I was using my macro lens for the flower pics and that’s why this guy looks so big.

Another older baby who really, really didn’t care for the camera.  (Got her anyway.  LOL.)

Debbie, the owner of this place, could hardly get me to leave.  There was so much to shoot.  I’m sure I’ll be making a trip back there soon!

This was a gorgeous wedding party and everyone was all smiles.

The colors were spectacular.

Okay, so not EVERYONE had their game faces on…well maybe this is “C’s” game face.  Tee hee.

But soon everything was under control and Adam and the guys had a chance to relax.

Of  course I could not let the Converse All Stars box go to waste.

Nor could I pass up so many great shoe shots.

It’s always so sweet to see the bride with her dad.
