Christmas Time at Pepper’s Ranch

And what would Christmas time be without a Christmas program?  Of course the adults organize it, thank you Tonya and Anna and all the parents/foster parents who helped out this year!

The program began with a special gift for the couple who originally started Pepper’s Ranch.

The photo book was quite a hit!

Anna was recognized for all her work with the kids.  They did a beautiful job!

The kids had a visit from a special guest!

Have a bless holiday Pepper’s Ranch!

Guthrie, OK Victorian Walk 2011

If you’ve never been to the Victorian Walk in Guthrie, let me show you a peek of what it was like this year (and then make plans to come see us next December!)

People dressed in Victorian clothing decorated many of the merchant’s windows.

Rick’s Fine Chocolate and Coffee was on our list of stops to make (merchants were open and ready for shoppers!)

The “Wurtle”.  It was so worth it.

Going Home for Christmas.

The Red Hat Ladies.

Guthrie is a beautiful town any time of year, so make plans to come see us soon since shopping is a year-round event!

Simply Oklahoma is a fine art and boutique.

And there are a myriad of antique stores for your shopping pleasure.

See you soon!

Cowboy Christmas Parade in Cowtown (That’s the Stockyards For Y’all Out of Towners)

Yeah, I’m a little bit country….well sometimes anyway.  I made my way down to the Stockyards in South Oklahoma City last  Saturday.

My client was Melissa and her beautiful Palomino, Old Yeller.  Yup you read that right.  He is named after the 1957 movie about the famous yellow dog.

He made a lot of new friends that day.

Melissa let him have the spot light.

He was a star!

Rainy Days and Saturdays (Make Me Happy When I’m Shooting)

Yes it was kind of a dreary day, but we didn’t let that get us down.  “M” and her little sister came up to Guthrie from Oklahoma City for a mid day shoot.

We had a great time rearranging part of the Sand Plum‘s event center to suit our portrait needs.

We wrapped up inside just in time to miss most of the rain.  We headed down to the R and R Restaurant and Event Center.

I’ll leave you with just one of “M” inside the restaurant.

Family Time in the Fall

I met with Jenny, Phil and “J” a few weeks ago when the leaves were still golden-red and on their branches.

Even though fall, in Oklahoma, is a relatively short season, we hit on a pretty good fall day for these photos.

“J” is not a kid who gets terribly excited when it comes to photos, but we got a few good ones.  :-)

He was much more about action than posing.

Country to Urban

This was an awesome shoot with “D”.   She and her entourage made the trek to Guthrie and we had some country and urban fun.

Now on to downtown Guthrie.

Thank you “D”.  I will contact you when your CD is ready!!
