Pepper’s Ranch Celebrates Fall

Come as you are or come as a princess.

Pepper’s Ranch had them all this past weekend!

Even the adults got in on the fun.

There were even themed family costumes.

Games were organized.

Some games were re-worked to fit the holiday feel.

And no, we didn’t make that baby bob for her apple.  LOL.

Master D.J. Travis was in the house to provide karaoke tunes.

Most of the audience (photographer included) was happy just to listen along.

Sara and Scott’s Wedding

My friend and wedding photography mentor, Sara, got married!

I had the privilege of 2nd shooting her wedding at the Memorial Union Ballroom (Campus of O.U.)

Their rings are beautiful!

These families like to laugh!

It will forever be a mystery to me what was said that had everyone cracking up.

First Dance.

Sara’s favorite close up.

Father/daughter dance.

They danced together several times through the evening (giving me plenty of great shots of them together) but here is the one I will leave you with (it’s my favorite).

It was beautiful Sara!  Be blessed!

Chelsea and Steven’s Wedding

Their lovely union was held at St. Mark’s in Norman, OK.

What was really nice, is that the church has a room just for the bride!  (I thought it was a cool deal.)

Just in case any of you wonder how much stuff I carry around for a wedding…good think I work out.  :-)

What was very neat was the fact that Chelsea and Steve had decided to see each other BEFORE the ceremony.  One of the bride’s maids recommended the hold-the-hand-first, see-each-other second approach.

It was super cute!

We even had enough time to go take a sneak peek at the reception area and get a glance a the cakes.

Meanwhile, the crowd is getting ready.

Have a blessed future together!

S u m m a h T i m e ! !

It’s hot out alright!

But that didn’t stop one of my favorite families from asking for photos (Happy Birthday Travis)!

Not everyone was on board for this group shot.  :-)

Certainly the boys were the stars of this shoot.  The newest boy was fascinated with me (well, sort of…he likes Mom best.  :-) )

This little one was my model that day I think!

His “twin” was not so much!  But we did try!! (This is my favorite of the two of them together).

Hee hee, below is the uncensored, blurry, “normal” family boy shot.

Stay cool everyone!

I Crashed a Kindergarten Graduation

I’ll admit it.

I saw that the home schooler’s kindergarten graduation was on our church schedule last week, so conveniently I showed up with some of my equipment and offered to take some photos.  Who could resist me?  LOL.

Certainly not these three beauties.

Diplomas aside, let’s get to the real deal!  Each child got a fun pack of goodies to commemorate the event.

The ceremony was very sweet.  Each father took a moment after his child received their certificate to share a special word with them.

Everyone was so patient!

The kids really got into the concept of tossing the caps.  I think they were just thrilled to have permission to do something so rowdy!

Here are just a couple of family shots.  For something so impromptu, I was happy to get a few shots for everyone.

Sara’s Wedding Shower

My friend Sara is the one who encouraged me to get serious with my photography.  I was her second shooter for a couple of years before she retired from wedding photography.  She is getting married!  Here is Sara and her fiance, Scott.

So what else could I do at her shower, but take photos while she got together with good friends and family?

The food was yummy!

There were the requisite games.

Lots of laughing and visiting.

Oh yeah and gifts for the bride to be.  (She had some help opening them too.)

I’ll leave you with a group shot!
