I guess that’s how Jerad’s grandparents refer to this beautiful little plot of land (and perhaps the structure in the background there) in Mustang, OK.  It’s got everything:  pond, trees, grass…everything you need for a lovely outdoor wedding.

The little blond is Ashley’s daughter.  She would NOT take up with me until I took this particular photo.  (Guess I got her good side.)

I do believe the entire family made it out for the big day. 

The flower girls did a great job!

The room has been set up with care and attention to detail.Once the immediate family has arrived, we get right to business with some family photos.

This particular family had the honor of the most members so I had a little fun with them.

Since I was the second shooter (shooting with Lindsey Brook’s photography), I got to concentrate on the guys.  Fun stuff!

Of course the “guys” included the littlest guy!

The cocktail hour awaited the guests as the bride, groom and families did their photos.

Despite the rain we’ve had the last several weeks, the afternoon was glorious.

I had a MARVELOUS vantage point to shoot from and I was thrilled when I got this shot.

The darling little red head is Olivia.  She made a stunning Jr. bride’s maid don’t you think?

After the ceremony and all the guests and family had left for the reception, I got a few of just the happily married family. 

Time to celebrate!  The venue was the GORGEOUS Cobblestone Creek in Norman OK.

The focus was on delicious food and awesome friends and family.

Steve’s humor was in good supply giving Jane yet another reason to smile.

Lest you think that I have the ability to transport myself from the top of the stairs to the bottom in the blink of an eye, I can’t.  (hee hee)  These next two shots were captured by my second shooter, Pam Bales.

I think it will be a few years before she’s ready to walk down the aisle!

Yes, this was fun day and of course a whole new life for this family!!

Now that the official time for weddings has begun, I’m going to get right to the good part on this one.  Ya ready?
